My research focuses on responsible data-driven decision-making in the public sector. I studied how policies and emerging technologies reshape healthcare, education, and social welfare systems, and I develope data-driven approaches that combine econometrics, machine learning, and prescriptive modeling to translate large-scale data into better decisions in these high-stake domains.
My recent work has included designing frameworks for healthcare service network design, with the goal of improving accessibility to care; building interpretable and transparent machine learning models for risk assessment; and studying how AI reshapes healthcare delivery, digital health platforms, and care-seeking behavior.
